Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Which kinds of multimedia tools are being developed with SimScope?
A: We are primarily developing CD-ROMs, websites and Microsoft PowerPointŪ presentations.
Q: What is the primary audience for SimScope teaching material?
A: Our courses are nearly all aimed at undergraduate students. Depending on the subject, some tools are intended for lower division courses, while others will be used in upper division classes and labs. Feel free to contact us for more information.
Q: Which finished instructional tools are currently available?
A: Check out the Demo section to find out what we have produced so far.
Q: Who can obtain copies of SimScope products?
A: Because our project is supported by University of California resources, the resulting instructional material is in principle only intended for use by students enrolled at one of the UC campuses. However, the author(s) and the University may allow wider distribution through individually negociated agreements.
Q: How can I obtain copies of SimScope products?
A: If you are a UC student, staff or faculty member, contact the primary author(s) directly via our list of collaborators. If you are not enrolled in or employed by one of the UC campuses, contact the project coordinator for more information.
